there a lining or concrete or other below the rocks in the creek to ensure that no weeds will grow in?
are those a particular type of birch trees?
It is a large Lakefront property but I do not know the acreage.

purchased a red brick ranch house and want to update the front. This style is very similar to my new house.
s was a 70's ranch style and we changed the front porch by extending the covered bridge 90 degrees from existing porch. They have significant drainage issues and the dry stream is to allow for some infiltration and to direct away from home.
stream beds and falls and outcrops as it flows through backyard which has about 25' of drop.
