great fence panels and creates a dramatic backdrop
Would this fence get hot? ex: exposure to sun, etc. Thanks
just wondering about the long term look of this fence.... would it rust? I love it!
Would this fence hold up to high winds? Would it get very hot?
We live at the mouth of a canyon, which causes high winds. We also live in a desert area so it gets hot. Do you feel this would be a good privacy fence and would you plant grass nearby? What did you use to brace it against?
Love this fence, any pointers on making it?
How do construct the supporting framework of this fence?
substrate metal. Zinc can be applied at different thicknesses for more or less protection. Thickness is reflected in the price. Care must be taken in handling to avoid scratching the galvanized finish. Field cuts and drill holes require treatment with zinc-containing paint to repair the anti-corrosive barrier

wire fence surrounding dog run with dog house. photo by Galen Fultz
The 34" x 16' hog wire fencing I've found to date has small openings on the bottom and large openings on top. Whose 3" x 3" or 4" x 4" hog wire fencing (manufacturer) are you using? Thanks.
How did you secure the wire fence to the wood posts?
existing fence with something similar - I can get 5'x16' panels at my local Grange. I hope ours turns out as nice!!
fenced in area that is actually pretty
of the fence with the welded wire grid panels inside
A fenced-in area with an enclosed coop also works well to integrate younger and adult chickens. As the chickens get used to each other, they have separate space to move in, and fighting is kept to a minimum.

privacy fence is brilliant! I'm going to steal the idea - it would work for us in the NE because you could do deciduous, have privacy in the summer when you need it, and then light in the winter. Great idea! Thanks.
