I custom designed the roman shade and had it made by a soft furnishings work room. The fabric has since been discontinued but you could have something similar made for your kitchen in a similar style and fabric.
The shade is lined and interlined
it is in its top most position it mimics a valance. It can be made as an instide mount as this one is or it can be mounted outside so that it overlaps the windowcasings. You can also mount it higher than the window as an outside mount so that when it is up it clears the window. This shade was both inner
sun when in the down position. Sheer linen shades can also be quite attractive if privacy is not a concern.
outlets is in the materials. A watertight, or in-use, outlet cover allows the outside outlet to stay covered even with a cord plugged in. The National Electrical Code also requires the use of ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlets outdoors. A GFCI outlet trips itself off when it senses a current
electrocution in addition to the shorter life.

I believe it is an indoor tile that has been sealed. In person, you can see a heavy
used this in a textured "leather" finish for a kitchen island (from AKDO in Bridgeport, CT.) Absolutely gorgeous...reminds me of ocean or picture of the earth from a satellite

I was specifically searching for these colors from Benjamin Moore after having looked at samples, they look nice in this photo although more brown than my sample looks, I still have to try them out in my space. Having
rooms in which the paint color looks completely different from one to the other. In the end the only way you can really know what color to use is to get cans of sample paint and use it within your own space.

just in many sizes... I wasn't sure if you knew what sizes were used. Based on the close up picture it appears there are longer skinnier pieces and also wider short ones.
