yrs. and it still looks great, just a bit darker, more the color ot the beam you see in the upper right corner of the photo. We also have it in our cabin. A warm, yet modern look, and it keeps the sound from bouncing around so much with the high ceilings.

@caqs - flat paint and the door is antique heart pine left natural @mntmorris - we don't know what color the homeowner used. This was very old wood, original to the house and it was first stripped of layers of paint before the the wash was applied.
