This is perfect to me--I like the angled step up up to the chimney, and the imbedded stones in the brick, and would love a little mantel. Can we make it tall enough? And add a seating wall.
Nice two tone w/ brick and stone
The stone on patio and the fireplace I could also use the stone on the front porch.

the cast stone there are a few difference applications and it seams every cast stone contractor has their own opinion on which technique is best. However, it seems to come down to three basic approaches 1) Slot cuts 2) Dowel Pins or Screws or 3) In Beds or Threaded Inserts. I did a quick BLOG with more
want cast stone window surrounds. Everyone around my area says because of the weight of the cast stone it can not be done with stucco/dryvit . Do you have any idea how they tied the surround in ?? Thanks!
The cast stone is buff. The exterior trim paint is Sherwinn Williams #SW3524 Chestnut.
