make a Dutch door from this basic design? Then no need for screen because you could get air flow with half of door open-like

striped Sunbrella draperies to dress up the outdoor sitting area. When they bought the house, it had a 1970s-style front door with gold diffused glass. Dan replaced it with this door, which he built himself. Rods: Benedict August; porch lamp: Kichler

When the large door is open, it helps frame a view of the trees across the street. The door is parallel to the adjacent wall, so this direction is reinforced. But given that it's a door, the owners can just as easily close it for privacy and for concentrated views of the foreground trees and sky.

front door and roof over it
Pale yellow house, blue shutters, red door.
tiny windows above door in the otherwise blank space
Simple, doable, shutters, roof, front door
Regardless of the home's era, a red door always says "Welcome." This classic exterior sets off its entry by maintaining a white body and complementary shutters.

I'm remodeling my kitchen and want to stack my washer & dryer behind doors. These are great!
The doors are from a company called Milette. They can be special ordered through Home Depot. http://www.portesmilette.com/en/our-quality-products/french-doors/square-moulding/805h.aspx And in fact this three panel slider hides the laundry area.
