We are installing subway tile on our backsplash and are stuck on this seemingly common question.
The backsplash is a 3"x6" ceramic subway tile and the liner is soapstone to tie into the countertop.
you will use it, make sure that your taller pots will fit below it. If it will primarily be decorative you should think about how it fits into your backsplash detail. In regards to the hood placement - when determining the hood height. you should always check your cooktop/range manufacturer's specifications
