Questions1
Hi there, the crew created a channel for the glass to sit in. And because the flooring is laid perpendicular to the glass there is little or no wood expansion that would affect it. I hope this helps!

What sits between the door trim and the wallboard to control the reveal? Is this a piece of aluminum "U" channel or "J" channel set between the wallboard and trim with the mud running up to it on the wallboard side?
What kind of door is this ? And what hardware was used ? Also, what did to use for the trim/casing ? Thanks...
Subtractive Door Casing is just a crisp Drywall bead with negative space creating delineation of the door jamb from the wall.

Does the door casing have "real" square
talking about exterior or interior. Exterior you also have the casing, brick molding and mullions "lattice" for the screw holes in the jams as well.
Every company has their own name, this is just a flat board with a bevel. The term casing is just a general term, you obviously knew that before the first
