in the vanity and set the sink down into it about 2-3 inches. When I googled the sink it appears much higher than in your picture? How did you anchor the sink into the vanity?
thanks,
Wondering if you used a special sealer on the top (or sides) of the vanity?
Is the vanity refurbished or new?
You said you bought this chest new at a furniture store. Do you mind saying where? Thanks.

i love how glossy the vanity is, looks beautiful in that color.
The sink is custom, but similar pieces available online from a variety of sources. Thanks for stopping by!
Cynthia, what a wonderful space. I was wondering who manufactured the vanity?
I had the lacquer custom mixed to match the silk on the relaxed Roman shade. Most paint stores can custom
for me to find a professional who does this in my area? Is it too hard for a DIY?
I recognize the vanity because I own 2 of the same thing. It is from Ethan Allen. I'm not sure how long ago I

double sink vanity. The three doors on the front made it perfect for a two sink vanity. The middle cupboard is all usable space and there is lots of storage in the other cupboards under the sinks. We put Travertine tile on top with the original sideboard wood backsplash. We added brass and crystal chandelier
white oval sinks and kept the Moen chrome vintage lever faucets we already had.
Which Kohler sink style did you use and what are the sink dimensions? Do the sinks go nearly all the way back to the wood backsplash and how many inches of vanity top surface do you have in front
Did you remove the top of the chest before adding the marble - if so, any advice about how to do this?
Did you put any kind of protection on the wood to prevent water damage?

A pretty antique sideboard can become a vanity when a hole is cut in the top and a sink is dropped in.
Hardware doesn't need to fade into the background. These pulls add contrast to the piece and contribute to its old-world charm.
Hanging vanities with drawers can provide a good amount of storage, since they take advantage of the often-unused space around plumbing. Berkovich suggests avoiding bulky medicine cabinets but often uses wall cabinetry (at least 10 inches deep) to add storage. If you're stuck with a small vanity cabinet
What is the sink and faucet used here? I'm repurposing an antique piece for my bathroom. This looks nice!
Similar to this is the Channing Mirror from Williams Sonoma. I do not recall the actual manufactuer however, it may have been an antique.
Blue walls green valances and cream molding and vanity. Nice combo
I like this very much, antiguey. Good placement of the sink between the windows & I even like the blue of the walls. I'd have this as a powder room
alternative to a typical vanity. The fresh coat of blue paint on the walls and crisply ironed valances give the bathroom a clean look overall.
This technique works for larger rooms, as seen previously, and smaller rooms like this bathroom. Repurposing an antique cabinet into a vanity adds character to

Don't forget to use a pop-up drain. The traditional kind do not work in this application.
