Match the walls. Create a completely fluid look for your bathroom by using the same finish
Match the walls. Create a completely fluid look for your bathroom by using the same finish on both floors and walls. You might think it will look too matchy-matchy, but when done right, it becomes very contemporary chic. Think warm wood tones with varied texture vs. tiny tiles
for your bathroom by using the same finish on both floors and walls. You might think it will look too matchy-matchy, but when done right, it becomes very contemporary chic. Think warm wood tones with varied texture vs. tiny tiles so it feels more sophisticated and less locker room.

that the bathroom is made of?
I like the design of the wall for the basement bathroom.
Bathroom in the middle of the studio
the bathroom door/wall is unique modern and interesting. I like it!
neat way to create small bathroom without making it stick out
for the bathroom. In that case it's often best to run hard in the other design direction and celebrate it in plain sight, make the bathroom part of the plan and a piece of the experience. Celebrating "unwanted" things is one of my favorite design tricks.
for a bathroom in a basement is to hide it, but sometimes there's just no way to pull that design move off that isn't boring. The reason: Basement bathrooms need to compete for space with the furnace, water softener, hot-water heater, stairs etc. And sometimes after I lay out the bar, bedroom and whatever
