couch except infront of it due to the layout in the room. I was looking thru your photos and the one that has the couch infront of the window S.A.N design group, confirmed what I felt that the couch should not go in front of the window. Does anyone have any other recommendations. The window seat is
facing the backyard so that I could keep an eye on my children playing.

I love this look and was curious as to whether or not you had the stairs installed first or if you did it afterwards? Thanks and beautiful design!!
Wood newel post and steel handrail were custom designed and built.
Cuppett likes designing homes where the stairs drop right into the kitchen. “It just feels comfortable and casual,” he says. This stairway also allows the family to stay connected to their children in the upstairs playroom. He added the same wood boards found on the dining room ceiling to the stairway
like to run around the corner of the stairs and kick and grab hold of the wall,” he says. The newel post is a simple geometric play on a traditional design. “It was just a little whimsical gesture,” he says.

Sweet SixteenDesign team: Robyn Karp Interiors(This photo and next)Inspired by the song "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" from The Sound of Music, this bedroom has chevron stripes and polka dots playfully colliding. The fun and happy room blends teenage rebellion with the right amount of feminine whimsy.

It is SO hard to find the right coffee table! What brand is this? I need a chrome or nickle and glass table but have children so a round one eliminates any run-ins with sharp corners. Thank you!
I also live the FP design but one sided.
qualified Venetian plasterer. They should have a web site or portfolio for you to view as well. Another option would be to call paint stores and/or designers for recommendations. Good luck with your project! Randy
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I just love this room design.
Can you please tell me where I would find these light fixtures? Great Design

If it was so that the ceiling was prepared with light colored - meaning white or eggshell or similar - and the perimeter edges had design and support for perimeter lighting - I have a means to come and create a similar star effect - that appears at night - only in the absence of light
the design, layout & furniture its nice

This room is absolutely gorgeous and the designer is obviously very gifted. However, I think new parents should be aware of the danger here.
http://www.pali-design.com/ I don't believe they make this exact design anymore, but they have some beautiful cribs.
yea, i always see nursery designs with framed photos above the crib and think the same thing. my kid would stand up and pull them off the wall for sure
Yes, that is a very good point. It definitely needs anchors and I am sure that the designer did that. Just as long it wasn't a single hook with a wire on it.
Frame in right hand corner - awesome children's art display idea!! Love that frame!!!
