limstone a viable option for New England? Any other suggestions?
I know this is a regional question, because different areas have different stone. I am about to start construction in Texas and love the size and color of this stone. It would be perfect
It is a blend of gravel from 1/4" & smaller all the way to dust. This is compacted over an additional base rock layer that is also compacted.

Sunex, Amen! I have had to completely refabricate emtek hardware for a very large project. I told the contractor to throw it out, but the owner overpaid for the hardware and wanted to use it. In the end , he paid more to fix the emtek than it would
steel. As a 20 year hardware professional I would never recommend Emtek (cheap Chinese knockoff designs, poor quality latch mechanisms) and Baldwin is not what it was before Black & Decker cheapened the brand in every way and moved the factory to Mexico.
