renovating our home, which is nestled in the woods, and I love this idea. Do you mind sharing how you affixed the branches to the lights?
The light fixture is one of the most asked-about chandeliers on Houzz; it came with them from their first house. Tavel built it from branches found in the yard, as a temporary place-filler before a party. They decided to keep it and at one point added a string of Christmas lights. “The Christmas lights

Front porch decorated for the holidays. Garland, lights, angels
When my husband built our house he put an outlet under every window so that by flipping one switch I can turn on all the Christmas candles! Also, we have a wrap around porch and he installed outlets at the corners on each side of the house so we can plug in the icicle lights without

Nook under the stairs.... Really like this idea. The Christmas lights look a little 'cheap' for my liking but maybe a string of lights... Also like the raised platform with the cushion.

Modern Christmas Mantle
Are the lights the mini lights or regular xmas lights? 1 strand or 2?
How did you position that one group of lights that is at the top?
Once I poked holes through the canvas and pushed the lights through, I added hot glue to secure in place. The back side of this was a crazy mess, but at least it was covered up!
It is a couple strands of standard sized lights.
I love the colours and the clever use of the lights

12. Merry and bright Christmas mantle. Curious about how Heather Freeman of The Lovely Cupboard got her mantle to glow? This cheerful DIY art was made simply by sticking Christmas lights through the back of a canvas. Freeman made all of this mantle art herself, and accented it with ornaments from Wal-Mart

Nice old brick house decorated for Christmas
decorate for the holidays, now is the time! Dig out the Christmas lights and test them early in the month, so you have ample time to replace nonworking strands. Hang exterior lights, wreaths and swags, being sure to use only exterior-rated lights, and plug them in safely to an outside outlet if possible

Dallas, TX: Christmas Lights Tree House

Very cool without all the lights . .
Whimsical use of Christmas lights and
strands of lights is a two-day process for Curvan. That’s a total of 5,600 individual white lights on the house. Curvan also put up miniature green lights to accent specific points of interest, such as the chimney top, peaked window and slide. Holly-shaped forms lined with green and red lights are attached
