It is not uncommon for stained concrete floors to have a gloss or semi-gloss finish. Just depends on final sealer top coat you apply to it.
had our floors stained and love it. It's no colder then ceramic tile. We do have and area area rug in front of the sofa and a runner when you first come into the house. I mop it with mop and glow and it looks really nice. My understanding is that the stain lasts for several years. I wouldn't recommend
