Are these individual pieces of concrete or one big slab with large joints? How do you keep them in place and avoid cracks? Thanks
What type of rock do you have in the concrete joints?
What is the concrete/stucco fire pit color? and Are those 1-2" blue La Paz pebbles?
They look like individually poured in place concrete pad. Unfortunately, concrete will eventually crack over time, however you can minimize/ control the cracks by doing proper work. Here is a link explains pretty

Advice on stones between gaps? - We just created a patio just like this. We got 24"x24" concrete pavers from home depot and we left a 2" space between the tile. We are trying to figure out what stone/sand to put between the spaces. We were advised
