Hi...was the cement wall poured with foundation or are they panels? If panels, where did you purchase them?
Thanks
The concrete walls were cast-in-place integral with the foundation walls. You can see interesting construction in action photos of the wall on our website at http://www.rockefeller-pa.com [click] PORTFOLIO [then] residential [then] Mandeville Canyon Residence [then] construction photos (lower right corner

This wall was poured in place using a technique called board form. It allows the imprint from individual boards to displayed in the finish, giving an organic looking finish.
The disadvantage with the concrete board tiles would be in the seams, as if they are placed poorly, it would be quite noticeable

Really just curious, but how often is exposed concrete in a house acceptable to buyers? or is it more of a new thing that's gaining popularity or a specialty?

Then the concrete is poured between the pieces. After it sets and dries, the forms are removed, a craftsman adds some finishing touches with acid stain and/or sealer, and KAZAM! you've got modern retaining walls.

What materials and techniques were used on the gray feature wall?
What is the paint colour and brand on the side walls?
The wall is a board-formed concrete (it is a retaining wall) and the floor is black slate. We held the boards apart about a 3/4" to get the pronounced horizontal texture where the concrete seeped out during the pour. Drove the contractor crazy but loved the result!
The wall is actually a structural concrete retaining wall where the form boards (wood) were intentionally kept a 1/4"- 1/2" apart to allow for some of the concrete to "ooze" out and create the linear pattern. The concrete contractor didn't want to do it as it was more work having to hand tamp during
