finished basement. The reason being it's meant to be around pools to reduce slippage, but for a finished basement. Plus it's hard to clean. A stained concrete finish would be much more aesthetically pleasing.

duplicate the supports for the overhang. Are they 4 x 6 uprights and 4 x 4 angled and top horizontal members? Is there a metal plate embedded into the concrete base and then slotted into the wooden member? Any advice you could offer on the hardware and configuration would be a blessing!
