This is the cooktop. I like the cutting board cover for the griddle. I don't like this enormous hood.

Does the cooktop have a pop-up downdraft?
For the gas cooktop, isn't a hood or vent needed? I don't see any downdraft accessory. Is one shown?
It is a Viking pro cooktop with a Viking downdraft unit. It is in the down position in this photo.

my island will be 12 ft (with curves at ea end) 10ft w/o - 4.3 deep - cooktop size? 36 in or range top 48? nice work!
The cooktop is 21" deep. There is a pop-up downdraft behind it. The downdraft comes in different configurations. This homeowner opted for a single blower at the unit. You can add a secondary blower in-line if needed. It works well.
