The closer to red cool colors get on the wheel, the warmer they become. The last stop on the cool side of the wheel is violet-red. After violet-red, colors start to advance again. Color theory provides a general framework to describe the behaviors of colors, and exceptions to these gene

generalizations abound. Still, the tendencies of warm colors to advance and cool colors to recede are almost always true. If you have a room with a low ceiling and you want the room to feel taller, paint the ceiling a white that's been tinted with blue. Similarly, if you have a very wide room that you want

cool!i want to do the same! Thanks!
space abounds with cool color. And because the vibrant colors are expressed via fabric and paint, it would not be that difficult to change them down the road.
OMG im in love and i already have pillows this color!!!!!!
Don't neglect your outdoor living spaces when it comes to injecting cool color. The days may be getting shorter and cooler, but why not plan ahead for spring and summer? Fall is, after all, a good time

Bluff Plantation
Love the floor, especially the color. Please tell me about the floor.
What is the name of the green wall color?
This is exactly the color I've been searching for!
Just bought this color, it is Sherwin Williams Dill in the children's color section.
It is antique heart pine and it is the natural color of the wood.
Ah, I see. Bluff Plantation is the name of the architect's project, not the paint color. Our color expert Kerrie Kelly recommends trying Sherwin Williams' Dill, SW6438.
I like cabinet, counter top, sink, floor. Wall color nice.
Green is the first cool color of the color wheel. In green, the tendency for colors to advance stops and they begin to recede. By recede I mean that cool colors expand a room or a space. This bathroom feels more expansive with a green wall than it would with an equally saturated red.

What is the color of the paint? Thanks!
Hi, I'm eager to know what colour wall paint is used? Please reply. Thanks.
BM Simply White trim/BM Sterling wall color
With cool colors. A foolproof way to select a trim color is to take a cue from the color palette in the room. If you are painting your walls a cool color (greens, blues, purples or grays), then find a white that reads as cooler. The easiest way to do this is to put swatches of various white paints next
next to one another and see how they play off one another. Some colors will appear more warm or beige-like; others will read as a very light gray with hints of green, blue or purple.

Hi. The tile is Ann Sacks custom tile. We selected the colors, they provide the layout to match with the space. You put it together a bit like a jigsaw puzzle.
Cool analagus colors! Palette goes with blue green
Cool Color PaletteThis kitchen also features bold analogous colors, but it's on the cool end of the color wheel with shades of green and blue. It has a sophisticated and serene feel.

This is a great way to work with bold color— the hues are all on the cool end of the color spectrum, so they play well together, and if you get tired of the look down the road, you can do it over with a fresh coat of paint and new bed linens.Tell us: What cool colors have you used in your home? don't always see eye to eye on paint colors. "I like cool colors, like blue and purple, but Alun likes warm oranges and reds," Selena says. "My theory is that being from Texas, I'm drawn to cool colors to be soothed from the heat. But Alun is from Scotland's cool climate and wants the warm tones."Paint:
