Where does one find the steel for this type of terracing?
So the wall is concrete, clad with Corten or is it just a concrete footing? How thick is the Corten?

Concrete and steel cabin? Cor-ten steel retaining walls
The Cor-Ten steel planter walls, the overhanging roof supported by the red slanted steel columns... Love the whole design!
grasses used as a terraced ground cover, but here they are used to soften the uncompromising Cor-Ten steel retaining walls. The height and color of the grasses are perfectly in harmony with the rust finish of the steel.Ornamental grasses can be a good plant choice, as terraces can drain freely, but the selection

Who is your Corten supplier please? Thanks, Stella
be pointed out here that Cor-Ten tends to stain adjacent materials, especially concrete. I'd be curious if this homeowner has any issues with the rusty steel on the concrete slab next to the pool.
From this view we can see the pool between the fence and Cor-Ten steel wall, orange fabric unrolled overhead
... Reveals that the Cor-Ten volume sits next to the swimming pool. The concrete block and wood siding can be found at left; the former extends inside and the latter covers the upper floor. The Cor-Ten gives a splash of color that is highlighted by the gray palette of the other materials. Only the bright

this part of the garden, plants would hinder the powerful feeling it elicits. Notice two things: how the colors of the spheres complement the Cor-Ten steel wall and, more important, the impact of the negative space left by the spheres atop the gravel floor.

Questions4
what is the retaining wall made of?
How thick is the CorTen used here?
It's made of Cor-Ten steel. A trademark name for a steel that has a weathering patina which works well for outdoor installations, as exemplified here.
Very nice - is the metal retaining wall very expensive or is it comparable with traditional material such as stone?
terracing with steel stairs, retaining walls

Replace rocks with sand Copper retaining walls
In a quick glance, these Cor-Ten retaining walls resemble soil. All of the horizontality, emphasized by the Cort-Ten on the slope, beautifully blends the landscape and the Prairie-style house.

like the art of steel panels
uses Cor-Ten steel walls for edging, alternating with concrete and wood benches in a zigzag pattern. The rusty steel is used in a planar manner, jutting from the ground in sheets. Needless to say, this isn't a yard for kids to run around in!
