I would like to put a vanity storage tower on my counter top but I am worried about water damage and maintenance of the wood. Can you provide any advice or guidance on care and maintenance? Thank

I have room to set my hutch back a bit and create more counter space in front of the hutch. Is there a "rule of thumb" for the right amount of space in front of the hutch? This photo depicts a good amount of space
details on this cabinet? Mfg, model, size, and depth? Also, in general do you recommend 12" or 15" depth for this type of cabinet? Concern about losing counter space. Thanks, Irene
height of the cabinets are 59" from the counter to the top.
The space in front can be any size. Keep in mind whatever is on the counter is in the way of opening doors and drawers. In another photo of my pictures you will see a hutch with just 1 1/2 " of counter in front. This cabinet is a pantry and
and will be accessed more often, so counter space in front of a pantry hutch would be of no use. Also the extra depth was needed in the pantry hutch.

plenty of work, storage, and socializing space: "The generous counter space provides ample working area for food prep, seating for everyday use, and a built-in wine rack to cradle each vintage. The result is a clean, expansive working space with friendly aesthetics and ample storage to meet the needs

nice platter/baking pan/cookie sheet storage idea
Good storage for platters but use in butlers pantry.
A single, full-size pullout behind cabinet doors provides room for larger platters. Its location directly under a large countertop ensures an ample workstation for filling up a big serving dish.

Cape Cod Additions
This kitchen went under an enormous transformation through a 75 square foot addition and the relocation of all three legs of the work triangle; sink, refrigerator and range. Previously, the work triangle used three of the four walls of the kitchen and consumed basically the entire floor area. To accommodate
I like the more slim version of wood counter. What is the thickness?
I need to replace my range and majority of better ranges extend beyond my existing counter line. Looking at this photo is the range protruding from counter line?
What kind of wood is the counter tops? and is there any special care that needs to be taken - besides no hot items or knife marks?
Thank you so much. Can anybody make these or is there a vendor that specializes in that kind of counter and finish? Also, what is the upkeep like? Should they be refinished every few years? Thank you again. The countertop is lovely!
