3. Use restraint. This fresh country kitchen keeps the "kountry" at bay with careful curation — the blues come from china patterns; the red appears on wood bar stools and cabinetry.

am planning my own kitchen and would like to make the baseboard just like this - furniture style - instead of having toe kicks. Can you please tell me if after using a kitchen without toe kicks - do you find it comfortable enough? It looks so much better this way! Your kitchen is gorgeous!
Could you give me a rough idea of how much a kitchen just like this one would cost?

dining table This rough brickwork is pure industrial, complementing the extension’s clean-lined geometry. But a set of Louis XV-style chairs and a country kitchen table prove that comfort and style can be combined beautifully.

Buckets of Burlap
Use an old burlap feedsack for an eye catching curtain. Burlap ruffled curtains for under the sink add texture to the kitchen.
Hi there, I am absolutely obsessed with your kitchen window treatment!! Where did you find it?? Or did you make it?
Can u plz tell me what the countertop is, what material, color, and manufacturer? What a beautiful kitchen!
I'm thrilled you like my homemade curtain :) I made our kitchen curtain out of an old coffee bean sack. I bought the sack at a flea market, cut it in half and sewed a hem for the rod. I left the bottom frayed. We have remodeled our kitchen since then...here is a new photo where I've now used a grainsack

Actually this could work in kitchen... The pantry
favorite. This traditional, muted green dining room needed a shot of color, and wow! That shot of blue does it. Now that is the way to liven up a country kitchen, don't you think?
