A contemporary, organic space.

Love the fireplace. Like the way kitchen is slightly separate. May keep living area more quiet.
You can also use lighting to encourage guests to congregate in specific areas. I love how the LED candles create a warm, inviting gathering space in this living area, while the brighter lighting in the kitchen enables the host to assemble snacks with ease.

Two pillars crafted from framing and drywall frame a niche area for artwork and a console. "With just a little bit of extra framing, you can add architectural details and lines with drywall; when you're on a budget, it's more pragmatic than adding a lot of expensive material cladding," Sigurdsson says
