Is the LED lighing in the crown molding the strip type or rope type? Does it matter?

Just go to your local glass company. This was done after the mouldings were installed and then the glass was cut to fit. There are several different patterns and pricepoints of antiqued mirror. Each has it's own "look"

I would like to do something similar with my window treatments and crown. Are there rods that are ceiling mounted under the crown? What depth should the crown be installed so that I could add drapes later- or if your suggestion to do drapes first, then crown second?

I am sorry, I do not know the profile name of the crown, I requested it to be a simple arc, no extra details. I would guess the height to be approx 4"-5"
came with the house, we have no idea who makes them, we just had the shades changed and new floors, and wainscot as well as the cabinet at the end, we did not provide the lights.

Would it ever be indicated to not do the crown molding and just do the chair railing a windows?
The brown crown molding looks really cool with the wood floor. I am considering taking up the carpet and going with the wood floor.

The designer used chair rail molding here to give the blue wallpaper a more royal feel. It looks like the molding above and below is painted in a golden brown color, making this large dining room feel cozy and rich.

Could I consider 30" cabinets with an 18" cabinet stacked on top? There would then be room for approx 5-6" of crown molding. From a design point of view, do these measurements
minus 54"). I'm not sure if you have enough room for double upper cabinets and crown molding. I would probably do 42" upper cabinets and then add a 12" filler at the top running to the ceiling and then apply the crown molding to the filler. I guess you could do 36" uppers with another 12" upper on top
with std crown and 9-12" of open space above. Are we making a mistake to consider this "stacked" new look of double cabinets for our kitchen? Advantages/disadvantages?
