“Hi, good question. dSPACE Studio designed the wood panel molding to be 1-1/2" wide and 1-inch proud from the drywall. The panel mold itself is wood and is located 10 inches above the baseboards and is held back 8-inches from the wall edge. Thanks for your question and good”

We'll have 10ft ceilings in our 2nd floor main living area in our beach house. In the FR will have a coffered ceiling, in the DR, a tray, in the K and BR's just crown”

“s the crown molding have to match the baseboards?Not exactly, but it needs to have a similar visual weight. It looks funny to have large crown molding with tiny baseboards and vice versa. If you are going to upgrade to add crown molding and you have little 3-inch baseboards, you'll want to replace those”
