expect for a house on the water. The colorful blue walls are accented by the complementary burnt orange colored flooring and lightened up with large white moldings. The large vase of branches at the end of the hall draws your eye into the space.
A similar color to try is Ebbtide 6493 by Sherwin-Williams.

Painting vents and pipes in ceilings with neutral walls
kids - different coloured towels with separate hooks
This is a cute kids bathroom.
different color towels for each kid, plus hooks on the walls for them.
Scattered hooks. This colorful industrial-modern abode has five kids, which means hooks and bars abound in the bathroom. A line of hooks placed directly outside of the shower doors ensures that towels are always within reach. The red, purple and blue hues of the towels reflect the bright paint colors of
artwork and a tiled accent wall enliven the children's bathroom.
Small Bursts of Big ColorsA good tip to keep in mind when selecting colors and materials for your home is to limit bold colors to things that can be changed quickly, easily and inexpensively — usually via paint and accessories. This cheery

Paint: Trim & Cabinets - Benjamin Moore - Decorator's White Wall Color - Benjamin Moore - Woodlawn Blue - HC147 photographed by: www.blackstoneedge.com
Can you tell me the paint coloron the walls and trim? Looks like Woodlawn Blue......
the counter surfaces are they a crushed quartz (brown) or a granite
angle on your glass doors? Thanks so much for creating such a beautiful kitchen!!
Love the paint colors! May i have the name of the paint on the walls, ceiling and trim? Thank you
It looks like it's only a few inches, perhaps 3" or 4" to edge of counter. I'm planning on an island with the sink to one side (like this one). Prep sink is 17" x 17 " (exterior size) & needs at least a 21" cabinet. Should I use a 24" cabinet instead because that would leave about 4"

order it on-line? It looks like a matelasse?
it is a quilt from Company C that is discontinued, is is very similar to a matelasse....there is a similar color from Pine Cone Hill in a solid called "scramble" key lime matelasse coverlet...hope that helps;-)
the wall color I used is Benjamin Moore's "Camouflage....it is a very moody grey/green
Benjamin Moore's Tapestry Beige is a similar color.
This room was in a Designer's show house and the closet doors were already in place...all I did was paint them and change the hardware...they were standard builder's closet doors as far as I could see. They even had those gold
metal cup type cut-outs for handles....I just painted right over them and added the glass pulls. Hope that helps! Best, Meredith

The aqua paint color on these walls appears to be similar to Martha Stewart's Milk Pail.
How about using hooks in the entry way?
bench ... could this fit in laundry room on the left side of door
Hmmm...cool idea, if you don't have a true mudroom, here is a solution!
Painted shelf at front door for junk
What a difference a very simple two-board cubby can make in defining and making functional a tiny entry area or "mudroom-let"
Even small would help -shoes baskets and hooks for backpacks/jackets
complete with a full-on Martha-style mudroom. But you still need a place to hang your coat and hat at the end of a day. Hooks up high and a little bench below create a functional mudroom space in the corner of an entryway.

what type of wood is used for the bench and for the boards on the back?
I love your design of the room. Was the bench made or purchased? Whats the width. I was looking to get something like this but shorter and wide enough for someone to sleep on it. Thanks for sharing this great design.
the coat hooks? They are exactly what I am looking for. Thanks.
The tongue and groove on the wall is clear vertical grain fir with a clear satin finish. The bench top is black walnut with a clear satin finish.
This is a custom made wood bench.
similar hooks! I have found these which look a lot like those pictured: http://atgstores.com/general/baldwin-hardware-0781-coat-hat-hook_g173742.html?linkLoc=viewPurch
Those one look nice. Someone also directed me to http://www.richelieu.com/en/ for hooks. I haven't really looked there yet. I appreciate you sending me the above link - I'm going to see if I can get those - they may just work perfectly for my lockers. Thanks so much.

venturing on updating a 16c thatched cottage, how on earth do I get your help advice and styling?! ; ) Lesley
I LOVE this bathroom. I am wondering what your opinion is on tile on the walls? Looks like you have marble floor and countertop, porcelain shower with no tiles on the walls. Do you like tiled
color on the cabinets and the paint color on the wall. So pretty! thx
Love this bath! Can you share the type of stone used on the vanity and color also, flooring material/color? Thank-You
loved a faucet fixtures and freestanding tub filler in polished nickel. I am now debating over whether to do travertine or marble on the floor. I have a dog that sleeps on my bathroom floor and I am afraid of the marble staining. What are your thoughts?
