Love the cabinets! ..who makes them and what is that wood and name of stain please? Thank you.
Those cabinets were custom built locally by Architectural Millwork. They are White Oak with a custom stain/glaze (a 6 coat stain & glaze process). - You're very welcome! :o)
Thank you! These countertops ARE very beautiful! The material that was used to create these custom countertops is #4220 Buttermilk Caesarstone with a 1-1/2" mitered square eased edge detail.

The carpet breaks up all the light wood.

What kind of floors were installed? Wood species? Finish?
Thank you for your inquiry! This is a custom color from our cabinet maker, Premier Custom Built. But I can tell you it's an antique white with a brown glaze.
The backsplash is a beadboard wood panel to match the cabinetry.
The ceiling height is 98. The backs plash panel is solid wood in true mortise and tenon joinery.
We are the Architects for the project. We had the table custom made. The top is out of Butternut, from J.H. Klein Wassink; the light fixture is from Ironware International, "Germaine 8006-6".

how I want the closet wrapped in wood
style of barn wood I would like for the basement wall
The enclosed wooded structure maintains its deep roots in this newly constructed space. Raw, unfinished timbers perfectly balance the presence of stainless steel and keeps the room from feeling cold.
Rustic and modern can mix perfectly by creating accent walls in unfinished wood. The balance here
If you are renovating or building and want to explore this look, consider walls created with reclaimed wood with corners finished in rustic metal. This is especially interesting in a contemporary space.

We are thinking of using a wood porcelain floor tile in our master and think this shower would compliment it.
These mirrors we custom made by us. Thanks for asking!
Oops, we were off. So glad the right answer was posted. Our measurements would work for a smaller space :-) This is a nice, clean design. Love the wainscoting, too.

Was the wainscot custom made on site or is it a paneling type? If paneling, who is the manufacturer?
Are they custom made or available in a big box store?
These are often called woven wood blinds or even bamboo blinds. Budget Blinds or even big box home stores often sell them. They're classic and beautiful and provide some nice light control, but at night they do not provide privacy.
Becky is right, it was a custom piece made by a cabinet maker
I forget the exact dimensions, it was custom to fit under the windows so I would say roughly 7-9 feet.
This looks like it could be a custom piece, but you can find a simple grasscloth pendant lamp such as this one at Room & Board: http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?produ

Hi.. HOw did you attach the wood to the wall?
The wood makes up the doors for a large wall hung cabinet / murphy bed. Thanks!
The lamp is a vintage piece and the table is a custom fabrication.
Use outside wood an cows on top
Cool wood feature - maybe office?
Wood as wall art. This idea is almost a full accent wall but more like a piece of art. Consider artful configurations of wood on a focal wall in a dining room or home office.

How were the floors and wood ceilings finished?
I love the low sheen finish that is almost wax like. Curious what specific products he used to achieve the finish. PS I love the wood and drywall combo that brings in the mix of old and new
come through without shininess. The reclaimed wood is very old-growth pine and the waxy look may be coming from the sap which still saturates the grain.
what sort of windows were used, i.e. vinyl, wood, wood clad, metal....?
The light fixture is custom made. It was a candelabra found by the client
The windows are Anderson 100 series which are a wood-fiber composite: http://www.andersenwindows.com/products/series/100-series
Thank you for your comment. The wood is sealed with a clear polyurethane, we selected a satin finish for the floor and a matte
