so quickly. I am actually looking for the material that you used on the top of the fire pit. Is it granite??? I don't see any seams. Did you have it cut from one piece of granite? Is it polished or honed? Thank you so much!
the cap is a single piece of granite (custom cut like a counter-top). Our mason did this for us, so I am not 100% positive.
It could be a slate, and while it would be difficult to transport, it is certainly possible to cut that out of one piece of stone.

the seat and the top of the back are called Mega pavers that were cut to size. We then measured the finished seat surface using brown paper we purchased at Home Depot in a large roll by taping it together and cutting it to size. Took cut pieces of paper representing each cushion to UFO, selected the fabric

We laid it along the bench and taped the edges, then cut each section to fit the container we purchased to store the cushions.
