What type of baseboard is that?
You're not even the original person who asked, "What is the width...". "What TYPE of baseboard wasn't the question. So, are you saying that asking about the width is valid? It's a dumb question, and houzz is full of them. These people ignore what is truly innovative about the renovations in the photos
question answered about the width, what is he/she going to do about it? Build their own by those same measurements? What's so unique about taller baseboards? How about the person asking what company makes the wall paint and what is the model of that color? Come on, it's just WHITE! Again, ignoring what
floor, doors, baseboards. Use 3-panel doors like this?

Can you please tell me the casing and baseboard dimensions
This is just a guess but, it looks like the baseboards are 4" and trim is either 2 or 2 and 1/4".

Love the baseboards and casings that you have chosen. I totally understand how they work in doorways that don't have doors but for doorways that have doors, how far is the casing set back from the door? In other words, when the baseboard approaches the door and it's turned
This is beautiful and I love the baseboards and crown.
Hi, great question. All the trim, baseboards, crown and millwork on this project are custom designed by dSPACE Studio. You could take the photo from our project to your architect, designer, or millworker and ask them to create your own unique design. The baseboards are 12" tall and the crown is 8" tall
I had seen the most beautiful wide (almost 4" ?) baseboards in our local home improvement store, only to find out it was an intricate and carved crown molding! Is there any reason NOT to use crown molding

What did you use for the baseboards?
Do you happen to know the ceiling height? Baseboard? Crown molding?
The ceiling height is 12'-0" - I believe the baseboard is approx. 9".

baseboard= 7% of wall height or 7" for an 8' wall, door casings = 50% of baseboard width
note info about relationship between size of baseboard (7% of wall height) and wall height; and door casing (50% of baseboard width.)
casing widths are the same as baseboards
As always, this isn't a hard and fast rule. Casings that equal the dimensions of the baseboards certainly can work quite well.
