Can you please tell me what type of flooring was used in this basement? Were getting our ceilings painted (open look) but, undecided for flooring.
Exposed ceilings such as this are usually sprayed using a paint sprayer. Using a sprayer does require more paint but you will be done in no time and will have a more uniform look that you won't be able to achieve using a brush and roller.

size of room and why a case opening
What is the size of the living and dinning room? Also why did you decide to place case openings in the dinning room? Without the case openings, don't you feel it would make the living and dinning room more open and just as elegnant? Thanks!
