Since this stain is on the darker side, a lighter floor would work well. Woods in a natural finish, medium browns
thanks for the question! This specific stain "Clove" is connected with the Durasupreme cabinetry brand, so it is only available on Durasupreme cabinetry. Because the floors are slate, I would suggest sticking to the same countertops on both island and perimeter - there are a lot of materials going on. If you had bamboo floors throughout, I think it would be fine to do a different material on the

windows...is it better to see the view through white trim or stained trim? -Can the trim be white and use interior stained wood doors for entry doors to bedrooms and use painted doors for bath and closet doors? - Or can the trim all be stained and use white doors throughout the house?
