Love the trim! Is it just a simple one-by wood material, or what is it?
nice use of dark trim and floors with light walls
simple trim around doors - the dark color is interesting and pulls together the tile and colors from the rug - possible in some shade that works with our stuff?

Is the toilet white or off white?
I need to add a tub and am afraid that the beauty of the room will be compromised. Would a white tub work or should it be tiled same as floor? Thanks for your time and help.
What is the ceiling height? I notice you've painted the bulkhead the same color as the wall and leave the ceiling white. I read somewhere it says if the ceiling is 8 ft or under, paint the bulkhead the same color as the ceiling. Hence my question. Thanks.
Would you recommend keeping a ceiling white or painting it the same colors as the walls?
It is a wood framed mirror.
I absolutely love the tile on the shower wall. I am redoing my kitchen and have a crema marfil floor with dark cabinets. Can you tell me where to find the tile you used on the walls? I would love to use it for my backsplash. I live in Dallas, TX, so hopefully

Honore-Transitional Living Room & Dining Room
furniture, accessories, etc are chocolate brown and blues. Which one of this colors would you suggest. I was thinking of doing linen white for trim and floors are dark hardwood. Thanks in advance!
its tendency to look green at times. What is your experience with this paint color and green undertones? My furniture is mostly black leather and dark woods at the moment. Thanks!
into this home & I wanted to paint the trim white because I am more of a contemporary (your style) type of girl and the walls maybe a Revere Pewter color paint. The thing is the kitchen has a country/rustic/southern feel to it & the cabinets are natural wood as you can see in the photos but I don't want
formal impact, do you think it would be a good idea to go with a dark ceiling such as Kendall Charcoal by BJ or do you think it would close/ weigh the room down since ceilings are low? If you think it would be OK, any suggestions on other dark colors that would compliment Revere Pewter? BTW, I really love

cabinets or is that the lighting? If so, I love it, what a clever idea to help marry the darker and lighter woods!
Can you please tell me the exact countertop (carrera? honed? and color (white shiny or matte) and size of backsplash subway tiles..T H A N K S!
Not sure which she used but it's either dark charcoal (probably) or black. If you "dry stack" the tile you'll get a small enough grout line where it won't look offensive. Use 1/16" spacers at most

black, white and chrome. nickel hardware on black cabinets, oil rubbed bronze on drawer pulls on white
natural trim, wood floors, black white grey, built ins around refrigerator
The dark door frames & windows look great with the subway tile. The upper cabinets with the windows and the large hardware are great too.
