You need to use ceramic tile. If you like a wood look they now make really beautiful ceramics that simulate wood. Some people will say you can use wood, but it will warp.

Hello Suzanne, Thanks for you email... The chairs were found at an Antique shop and painted out....the table was custom made for Les Ensembliers.
