What wood product and species is used for fireplace? It is beautiful
What is fireplace brand and manufacture that you used?
I would more or less echo that comment - most likely gas. And, if it is not, I have not heard of 30 inches. Generally, if you are installing a wood burning fireplace, you are required to have 20 inches of non-combustible material

I want to replace my fireplace exterior
this home are all fir which was a budget decision. Our finisher did a custom multi-layer stain process on the wood. We added a grayed stain to cut the reddish color and lessen the varying wood grain. The ceilings are a golden tone, less reddish than fir would normally appear.
The fireplace surround and mantle are carved limestone. The tapered chimney above the mantle is colored plaster like the surrounding walls. I hope this answers
