looking for a stone to put around the fireplace in the house we are building. This is beautiful!
Where is the leather chair from? Is it a recliner? Where do I find your answers?

offer similar styles, but Decor-rest is the best value that I have found for this look
Decor-rest from Toronto makes a style that is identical to these in Brompton leather (as shown) Bonus is they are made in Canada and offer the same style and leather and at a better. price and made domestically versus Resto which is largely manufactured in Asia. Legacy leather and Omnia Leather offer
Where can these doors be purchased. They would be perfect for the house I'm building.
Change the look with throw pillows. If you’re tired of the big leather sofa your husband brought into the marriage, change the look up with an array of throw pillows. (I’m sorry if that was sexist stereotyping; I just know a lot of gals who hate their hubby’s bachelor furniture.)

How much (how wide and long) usable space do you have under your stairs? I'm plotting a pantry and don't know how much is really usable before the ceiling gets too low.
where you place your foot. That is what I was referring to. If the floor is dark stained oak do you think I should just keep treads and rails dark as well with white baullisters? Sometimes it looks as though two different stains were used with white baullisters. Thanks so much for your input. I'm stressing
If your ballusters are going to be white, the most common way is to keep the risers white as well, and then choose the same wood species for the rail and treads. If you want more wood, then put in risers of the same species as well. In your example picture, the newel posts

mountain house remodel - half wall between toilet and vanity
If it's not possible to redo your bathroom walls, consider distressing your current cabinetry, or replacing your vanity with one finished in raw wood. The interesting texture featured in the wood is enough to keep the rest of the bathroom design minimal and simple in design.

perkocha, another option is TVCoverUps. Framed art(including your own) or mirror adds to the room's decor, with the hidden TV and Entertainment Consoles beneath. See how EASY it really is: http://youtu.be/05bwMqaAS5Y

Plants can balance out your design. The right plant in the wrong place will throw off the look and feel of an entire room. It might be too small in a larger space, or simply have too much volume and overwhelm nearby design elements. When selecting a large houseplant, consider volume as well as overall
front of a window may block too much natural light. And you don't want to have to brush aside fronds from a nearby plant to carry on a conversation with your friends. By taking height, width and volume into consideration, you'll select a plant that fills the space perfectly. For example, this tall, full tree
