Will wooden slats look appropriate on the living room ceiling?
Beautiful tile and walls, but I'm not sold on everything. I like how you get the feel for one great room, but I don't
bring in the expansive desert views; the bottom windows are operational and let in the breeze from the valley. The open fireplace divides the living room from the hearth room. Snapped-edge limestone makes up the hearth and mantel; copper covers the uplit fireplace.

modern touch to the antique Arts and Crafts style seen in this home. It's quite unexpected and a delightful break from the seriousness of the overall room.

his travels or just walks in nature," she says."My husband, Rick Muto, who is a decorative painter and fine artist, was the inspiration for the room. He did the dark-green oil glaze on the wall, to feel like you were in the woods, and all the paintings are from his regional plein air series of locations

them custom made? Did you buy the beads or did the company that customizes them pick them out? I love them and have a great idea to use them as a divider.
What an amazing room. I am a design professional and was wondering if you would consider sharing the source for your custom beads? Thank you.
Love the pic on the wall is great for a divas room
you can always fake it. A low-profile platform bed with a floor-mounted structure inset underneath can support the bed from below. You can then add decorative, non-load-bearing elements (such as rope or whatever you wish) to one or more corners of the bed and connect them to the ceiling with a simple hook
