Decorated on the piano a bit
Simple decoration on and above old piano
don't have picture of actual piano but it looks somewhat like this, maybe a little taller. will need a bench ***Do you have an update re: when piano will be arriving? Should we decorate around it or as though it won't be
Love how the mirror and lamp pull the piano into the overall decor of the room!

A lamp and a mirror dress it up so it doesn't look out of place. If your old home needs a facelift, the entryway is the perfect place to start. Where did you purchase the wall decor, especially the middle circular piece.
I generally try to repeat the same throughout a home, it looks more balanced. Another idea is going to the local store in your area that is selling the molding. Bring photos with you to better show them. Ask if there is someone on staff that can help. Wishing you all the best with your project.
The middle was from either Pier 1 or Home Goods. The other two were bought at Garden Ridge Pottery.

In a warm bronze finish, these medallions bring an Old-World feel to this traditional space. They work great as decorative accents inside the applied mouldings.

Some of the changes made in the home's original design made the spaces feel awkward. The original family room was a small, angled space that made it difficult to place furniture. Gordon designed full-height, wall-to-wall cabinetry that visually straightened out the main wall of the room. One of the
bookshelves swings forward, revealing extra storage space in the leftover space behind the shelf. Console: Monaco credenza, Weego Home

Thanks for getting back to me. Your home is just beautiful. Bravo!
system/technique is Wagner's Wall Magic. I used to get their supplies @ Sherwin Williams, but my local SW no longer carries their supplies - maybe Lowes or Home Depot would?. I've attached a couple links that might get you started. One is actual supplies on Amazon & the other is, I think, a pretty good verbal

We used throughout our home, but I think one of the best photo examples of how this technique can turn out would be the bathroom photo showing part of the tub. http://www.amazon
