Shimmering knickknacks and tchotchkes adding personal flair to the already diversely decorated apartment. The dining table-turned-desk doesn't have drawers, so boxes from IKEA and trays from the flea market act as elegant storage solutions.

throw pillows made by mom to add pop to apartment (you buy the form in Austin, I make the cover and mail it to you)
Fun throw pillows are a really cheap and easy way to decorate your apartment and make it look lived in. If you are a good sewer, you can use any sort of leftover fabric from jeans, concert t-shirts, dishtowels, etc.

Question: Are there any inexpensive ways to decorate an apartment? I can't paint the walls or tear up the ugly carpet. I don't want to put too much money into it as I'm saving to buy a house - I just can't stand how boring it all is though. Have an idea? Click here to answer.
