What is that great piece of decoration on the ceiling?
I believe that is Benjamin Moore's Decorator White. Any "white" though will pop with a dark, rich color like this.

the upper cabinets are likely 30-36" high, and the tiny uppers up top are likely 15" high, plus crown moulding. These are perfect places to store decorative items, when lit like this, or for rarely used items that can be tucked out of reach.
