This former modular shower was expanded by carving additonal space out of a storage space above the stairs and lifting the ceiling to allow the skylight. Antique Delft tiles collected over time by the client were integrated into the tile field and Danby marble serves as both the shelf and threshold.

In this Guest Bedroom, we kept it chic and elegant. A pair of twin beds, in crisp white linens, and bedding make the room very inviting. We introduced a vine like wilton rug as the base to the room. In the bay window area, we had our artist paint vines birds and delft urns. The seating area has a pair of pale blue chairs. On the pair of skirted tables we introduce a pair of blue delft lamps. The end of a longer island was raised up 2-inches more than standard countertop height to add visual interest to a narrow kitchen space. A thicker honed black granite was used for the surface and 3 larger width drawers makes organizing easy and accessible for the homeowner. Nickel color cup pulls and knobs are shown. The island cabinetry was made by Custom Cupboards and kitchen design was by Studio 76 Kitchens and Baths in Twinsburg, Ohio.
