We designed it. There is a gas cooktop in the island. The gas line runs inside one leg and the electrical wiring runs up another.
of the kitchen and the island? I am making something much smaller but i am afraid that if I get it wrong, I might create an elevator shaft appearance. If I can downsize from what you did, I might be able to make it work. I don't know enough about this process to know if I am asking for "architect secrets"
We designed the island and a local cabinet maker built it. Electrical wires are in one turned leg and gas piping to supply the cooktop are in another.
