Where did you get the hanging PotRack? I love how despite the modern elegance of the kitchen design, that rack and the pots hanging on it imparts the space with a cozy, lived-in feel. Well done. :-)
Does anyone know what the amount of space is between the barstools and the chairs at the table? I am redesigning my kithcen and want to have the largest island ppossible, but I do not want a cramped area

Functional yet attractive way to store pots and pans in a small kitchen.
High windows and high open space
Hang pots and expose beams to add space overhead. There is something so comforting about the clatter of pots in an overhead rack — and this setup is a great space saver, to boot. Exposing beams creates a higher ceiling, which can make even a small kitchen feel more spacious.

All-purpose room. This lovely, cozy laundry space adapts however it's needed — as a butler's pantry, potting station and more. It's so appealing that I'd probably just hang out in there with a book while the laundry was going.Who has the hardest-working laundry room in Houzzland? Upload your photo here

The main living space in the basement is light filled and has an open floor plan. To make the basement habitable, Bader and Mitanidis raised the ceiling height through a combination of two structural techniques: benching and underpinning. Benching involves pouring a new, deeper foundation inside the
the existing one, while underpinning means it gets poured underneath. Underpinning is much more expensive but doesn't take up any floor space, so they used it in tight areas, such as the powder room, and benched everywhere else.Chair: Poang, Ikea; open shelving: Lack, Ikea; pine shelving, coffee table:
