Modern Cabin Stone Accent Wall and Wood Ceiling
Architect Tom Jones of TRJ Design in Trabuco Canyon, CA, was asked to design a modern, yet warm and inviting lakefront “cabin” for his retired parents near Lake Superior in northwestern Wisconsin. Jones’ design goal was to create a home with a clean, open floor plan and a simple design that always keeps nature
beauty to the plans, we used three key design elements – wood, glass and Eldorado Stone. This lakefront cabin boasts many impressive architectural features such as a look-out tower that provides a 360 degree view of the lake and surrounding forest. The unique floor design of the tower was made of logs harvested
