The dining table is a thirteen-foot-long, five-inch-thick slab of reclaimed acacia wood, with a natural woven chandelier that is similar in color and feeling to the Hans Wegner wishbone chairs that surround the table. Photo by Lincoln Barbour.

I love the dining room set . Can you tell me who makes it &dimentions>
Love the dining table - can you tell us the source?
like white on white with black accents for dining room?
white floors, walls, ceiling, dining table and chairs with accent black oversized lamp shade
light feature and the lanterns on floor
large scale a role in defining that area as the dining area
love the white dining set, lanterns, - room has such clean feel.
This is how high I want to hang the light over the dining table
scale to create impact. This large-scale black shade above a white dining room is all about drama, and lots of it. The fixture not only provides adequate light over the table, but also plays a role in defining that area as the dining area.

Eclectic Farm House
Where can I get a dog like this? I feel like it accompanies the room very well, but I cannot find it anywhere
love the floor. What is it?
The floor is absolutely perfect the way it is. love the patina and the aged look. Exactly what I am looking for.
Not really for my house. I just like this room.
The couple gutted three rooms on the first floor and transformed them into one large kitchen. The original kitchen was in the basement. An old wooden table matches the original rustic wood floors, where Phoebe the dog makes herself comfortable. A black iron electrified oil lamp sourced from an antiques
When I think of a country kitchen, this is the flooring that comes to mind. Aged barn-board planking — some pieces still sporting the paint and patina of previous generations — provides the perfect foundation for this farmhouse kitchen. Barn-board flooring has benefits: It’s fairly inexpensive, it’s recycled

Could you tell me how hight the ceiling is in the living/dining room?
What is the color of the stain and what kind of sood is the floor?
Where can I get this same look in hardwood floor in Montreal or surroundings? Love it!
2. Overhead ElementIn this room there is a change in material at the ceiling level, while the flooring stays consistent. This material change is a smart visual way to delineate zones in a home with an open floor plan.
about this open-plan room (the fresh palette, open shelving, black dome pendant, baby pink tumblers and those Eames Eiffel Chairs … so, basically everything!), but what stands out the most is the clever way the designer has used different materials to clearly define the cooking/dining and living zones.

replicate the same look on my dining room, can I you put the moulding directly against painted white dry wall, or do most people put some kind of plywood base. I'm trying to do this on a budget.

good example of the wainscot I'm thinking of in dining room and entry way. doing the faux is a good idea. april 2014
candle stand to a corner. I’ve seen a lot of dining rooms that are just stuck at rug + dining table + dining chairs, and the room seems like it’s missing something. A small table or stool can fill in just fine.(I have a vintage tall stool in my own dining room, in a corner.) Add a plant or vase on top.
