Cabinet Glass

Does low-lead,low-iron glass (starphire) make a difference in kitchen cabinets? Is it worth the extra money? Or is it mainly used in thicker glass applications like shower doors?

Hi cef2, were you able to find out more information about this?

I did not get the starphire (and it looks fine) but I do think it could make a difference even in thinner cabinet glass.

Hi Cef, Congrats on your kitchen cabinet remodel -- would you happen to have any photos of the Before and After of your cabinets ?

I just took this with my camera phone so it's not great but might give you an idea of glass. The before was completely different. We basically gutted it but kept the same footprint.
