Horizontal Stripes in Bathroom --Spacing Issue
June 8, 2014 in Design Dilemma
I have a bathroom I am planning on painting in blue and white stripes. I was planning on spacing them about 12" apart. We have a stripe of blue glass mosaic tile running through our white subway tile tub surround. I was planning on lining up the stripes with the tile, but that leaves me with 19" inches above it. Do I line it up and make the top blue stripe only 7" or put the stripe so it is staggered half way through the tile?
The darker blue is the color we are using. It matches the tile.

Very cool! I would center a stripe on the tile and go from there. Please post pictures when you finish.

It's DONE!! I retiled the floors and painted the walls. Again in photos the tile and paint seem off, but in person they are an almost exact match. It just needs some finishing touches and the bathroom will be complete!
