How to decorate above bed?

Hi everyone!

Here's a picture of my new headboard and shams...any ideas on what to do above the bed? I have 13 foot ceilings but am in a rental so can't paint or wallpaper. Hoping someone will have a creative solution...thank you! Oh and I need a quilt too if anyone has any suggestions :) I like casual, warm and eclectic mostly!

Make a grouping of picture frames ( some can be empty or with greens pressed in between or an initial) One very clever way to add some interest is to take the back out of your favorite frame and use that one as a focal point and place an applica on it with a phrase, an initial or just leave it blank... so many options with groupings :)! Good Luck

You have lots of room for pictures maybe a grouping of four large pictures since you have the height.

I think adding a mirror over each nightstand would make the room feel brighter and larger;)

As a landlord, I am only too happy pointing tenants in the direction of removable wallpaper. Some examples.

the room seems very dark, I would add a mirror either above each nightstand or above the headboard to help reflect the light

You could frame and mount wallpaper and place behind the night tables instead of having something over the bed.Tall pieces would be in keeping with the high ceiling
