Tv facing the entry?

This is my new apartment. I have a big sofa and a chase with two side tables and a coffee table. Where should put the sofa and would be ok if the tv was the first thing you see when entering the apartment?!

I would put the tv on the patio door wall. The wall opposite of the patio door is larger and having your sofa on that wall may fit better. Nothing wrong with seeing the tv as you walk in the living room....as long as you keep it neat looking and maintained on a nice piece of furniture.

One would either see the sofa or TV set upon entering the apartment.

Put your TV on a swivel stand above a credenza, not a TV stand, on the wall opposite the entry. It can swivel to enhance viewing, even from the dining room. Not sure if your sofa is a chaise sectional or if you have two separate pieces, a sofa and a chaise. I don't think seeing the TV when you enter is a problem if it is done right. Since you don't have a built in focal point, the TV wall can become one. You could even use temporary wallpaper on that one wall to enhance it for your focal point and remove it when you move.
