Cleaning lady ruined my laminate floor

I had a new cleaning lady come today and she ruined the floor in my bedroom by using water to clean it even though I said not to(LAMINATE) . I called her out on it , but she said that no way it could have been her because it wasn't a lot of water... I am upset of course I wanted to find a cleaning lady that would clean better than my current one that doesn't clean very well and now I get this problem.. Thats what I get for cheating.. lol, but all kidding aside what can I do about the floor? Thank You

Dang!!! Maybe one of the flooring experts on here could tell you, but it would be tempted to take a rolling pin or something and try to remove the bubble. If that doesn't work, maybe an iron (on a cloth) to reactivate the glue. I'd take a little glue on a toothpick and try to smooth the edges.

To my knowledge that sort of damage doesn't happen instantly. So not sure if you can blame the new cleaner for that

Not necessarily its the fault of the cleaning lady , perhaps this was a faulty piece of laminate or not a very good quality . How long ago did you have this floor installed ? I hope that you have purchased some extras for cases like this .

There are a few remedies you can do to repair it, your best option is to contact a laminate floor expert to repair, but the other thing to research is how much it would cost to replace the few ruined strips as it may be more cost effective to replace them.

Hi Heather I have seen this happen before to another area of my home bc of a leak from the air conditioner so I am paranoid with my floors... I told her no water but my she used it and a lot..

These floors where installed in 2012 and they are made in USA no (China) they have been great.

I feel horrible and hubby says to forget about it and to never have that cleanig lady back.

Thats good. Get the damaged pces replaced and maybe do the floors yourself. I have never managed to find a "good" cleaning lady. Maybe just get one for everything else
