Color scheme living room and dining rooms
Hello, thank you in advance for your feedback. I am redoing my parents living and dining rooms. Its all one room in a "L" shape. I want to do this same color scheme beige sofas with orange pillows in living room. My question is how much orange accent can/should use?
I want to do the curtains in a similar orange as the decorative pillows and the area carpet as well. Too much orange....? curtains, pillows, and area rug?
Lastly, as mentioned the room is an L shape so around the corner from sofas is dining room. The dining room connects to the family room which is an add on so there are some window panels that are covered by curtains in from of dining room (I can send pics of room area). Anyway, Can I do a different set of curtains from the living room and color scheme. Green/brown curtains and green brown area carpet. Again I can send sample pics fr better understanding.

bml1996 I have attached 3 pics to L shaped dining and living room. So need advise if it would be fine to do orange accent scheme pillows, curtains, area rug. Then turn the corner to living room and do green/brown curtains and green/brown area rub. I ll send sample pics next.

bml1996 here you can see to the far left one of the window panels of living room, further around the room is the other panel window and the bigger long living room window which I m thinking of doing orange colored curtains and pulling carpets and using original wood floors. Far right are the 2 window panels for dining room which I want to do green/brown area carpet under the dining table and panel window.

bml1996 and then for the living room I want to do orange curtains and area rug. The color of all the walls is similar to your color scheme in your pic.

DrapeStyle Yep - love the burnt orange direction. The room is very monotone - you need to bring in some color to make it pop.
